Resto druid raid gear (patch 4.0.6)

After I felt reasonably satisfied with my pre-raid gear, I went ahead and made a 359+ iLevel gear list for resto gear I'm on the lookout for. Like Angelya, I used Wowhead and assigned each stat a point value to rank the pieces. Soph has a good list of where to get tier pieces. R4HT talks about Spirit vs Intellect when determining side-grades. Vixsin has a very nice breakdown of trinket procs. Restoration Druid talks about the important numbers to know for haste caps. Tree Heals Go Woosh determines that a MH+OH combo is superior to a staff! Windsoar has thoughts on haste vs. mastery. Keeva looks at gear choices for chest/shoulders combos and moonkin pants.

There is a resto druid PVE preset search option, but I changed the stat priorities to:
Intellect: 100
Spellpower: 90
Haste: 80
Spirit: 80
Mastery: 60
Crit: 50

Options, not absolutes

Although these are ordered based on wowhead's helpful calculations, not all will be available to you (hard mode loot, loot from a raid your guild isn't running), nor will it be guaranteed to drop while you are there, or even be looted to you. It's likely that you will take what you can get and reforge.

For me, since I will likely not have access to any heroic loot (at least when it's the best of the best), I've made a purchase list for my valor points, the order of which will depend on what piece needs the upgrade most. I'm aiming for the 2piece set bonus from hands and legs, hopefully followed by the 4p bonus from the helm and shoulder tokens. *fingers crossed*

    I am curious since Balance and Restoration druids share a lot of the same stats and gear can be reforged to adjust as needed. Are there some good pieces that can fill in for the hybrid roles or to make gearing up easier until you have two full individual sets?

    Of all the great gear lists I have been reading as a guide, I am putting together what I can from what I have access to. Want to be able to fully utilize the Justice and Valor Points that I am grinding out. Just was wondering what key items would work well for damage and healing.

    Draccus - I haven't played as moonkin at all this xpac, but poking around on other gear lists/guides and having listened to my resident boomy complain about gear, the stat priority looks pretty easy for sharing purposes. Since moonkin talents give you hit from spirit, grabbing +spirit pieces will still help you get to the 17% hit cap. So you will prioritize Int, followed by Hit/Spirit to cap, then Haste. From there most people I've heard from would get Mastery, followed by Crit. Looks familiar!

    For other resources: Restokin actually lumps both moonkin and resto gear together in this pre-raid gearing guide

    Sunfyre's raid gear list. "...but remember, with reforging, almost any piece of gear becomes viable."
